I tell everyone I know to buy stock in a company that manufactures cable ties.  We use hundreds of them for:

• Attaching lights/pixels to props (e.g., wire frames)

• Assembling coro props

• Securing cables and cords for safety

They come in various sizes and colors.  Our most used sizes are 4 inch, 6 inch and 8 inch.  Our most used color is black and white is a close second.
