Theme/Color

This segment uses two color combinations based on the language:

• For the parts in Spanish we used bright colors to create a "fiesta" feeling.

• For the English parts we used the traditional colors of red and green.

A Singing Personality

We wrestled with a personality to use for the singing voice for this segment.  We considered a number of options and I had been looking for an opportunity to use a snowman.  Of course for this song, we'd need a snowman with a Latin flair.  How better to accomplish that than to give him a festive sombrero.   I've included an image sheet, in teh images section below, with the phonemes for our Latin Snowman.

Language Translation

We used the house matrix to translate languages in two ways:

• At the beginning of the segment we display the TUNE TO FM 89.7 in Spanish

• Throughout the song we translate the Spanish to English.
