I have plans to build out this topic in the future but I recently heard something that I thought was worth sharing, and I don't want to lose it, so I'll share it here.

"There is only one place where everyone gets what they deserve, hell."

The truth of that simple statement is of eternal consequences.

• Those who choose Jesus as lord and Savior, get exactly what they DO NOT deserve, an eternity in the presence of their Creator.   This life is the closest they will ever get to experiencing hell.

• Those who reject Jesus and choose to ignore God's offer of salvation, get exactly what they chose - and deserve - an eternity separated from their Creator experiencing the torment appropriate to their sin debt.  This life is the closest they will ever get to experiencing Heaven.
